Ayant été conçu à partir des premiers principes, au lieu d'être adapté à partir d'un relais de PCB, la série G2RV d'Omron est le seul véritable relais industriel plat sur le marché. En conséquence, le G2RV offre un large éventail d'avantages aux fabricants de machines et aux constructeurs de panneaux. Des broches plates robustes, impossibles à plier, avec une large surface de contact garantissent des connexions solides et fiables pour la commutation de 6 A ou 440 V. Avec seulement 6 mm de large, l'espace requis pour des contacts multiples est réduit.
