The metal case of the E3ZM sensor makes them mechanically robust against accidental knocks or hits. This strength helps to extend the life of the sensor, and reduce down time in turn helping to maintain product levels. The E3ZM is rated at IP69K, which means it is particularly suited to dusty or wet environments or where wash downs occur especially with high temperature (upto 80OC) jets or where corrosive chemicals are used as part of the cleaning.

The H7CX range offers both up and down counting meaning you can count from 0 to the total or from a preset down to 0, giving the option of knowing how many have been seen or how many are still to come. This can be useful when operator interaction is required at key stages of the process. The output from the counter may be a gate to be moved across the conveyor to re-direct the bottles.
